Disposal of laser jet cartridges?

Where do you dispose of these, as we want to be environmental friendly?Disposal of laser jet cartridges?
There may be a refiller in your area that might actually pay you for the spent cartridge, or at least, give you a discount on a refilled one. Do a local search on ';Toner Cartridge'; to see who's selling refilled.

Manufacturers, especially HP, will take back the cartridges, and I believe will even pay the postage. What they do is crush it and recycle the metal to one place, and the plastic to another place, in the most environmentally responsible way, short of refilling it. Since toner is their profit engine, they have incentive to beat the refill market. Check the manufacturer's website, they will probably send you a post-paid sticker to send your cartridge back.Disposal of laser jet cartridges?
Don't dispose of them. If you have a Staples office supply near take them in to them they will dispose of them for you and Here in Arizona they will give you $3.00 off if you get new ones from them. Or you could have them refilled but you can only do that a couple times.
you can bring them to places like officemax and get a 3 dollar discount on your purchase or you can have them refill your cartridge for you which would be cheaper than buying a new cartridge.
Many office type stores such as Staples or Kinkos have bins by the front door. Drop it in one of these bins and they will be recycled.
Return empties to manu. !
return it back to your supplier and sometimes you get discount for a new one.
