For this model, You don't have to reset your chip. Remove the chip and the problem will be solved. I'm a manufacture of non-oem cartridges in Singapore. This is wat i do.
If any of you can find something to reset the chip, can post it here?How can I reset the chipset on HP laser jet 1320 cartridge?
Some computer shops sell devices to reset cartridge chips, not sure if there is one for a HP printer, ask at the place where you get your ink.
